Call-to-action (CTA) buttons can be used when you want the email recipient or page visitor to take a specific action.
You can add call-to-action buttons to your email or landing page by using the ‘Button‘ content block on the right-hand side of the editor.
Drag the button from the menu to the place in the campaign where you want the button to appear.
You can then click on the button to change the text and edit the styling.
From the menu on the right-hand side of the page, you can change the width of the button. You can also format the button’s colour, size, and add padding around the button.
The ‘Action‘ option allows you to choose what happens when the button is selected. The following options are available:
- Open Web Page: Specify which page is opened when the button is clicked.
- Send Email: Opens an email window.
- Make Call: Allows the recipient to call.
- Send SMS: Sends a text message.
You can also use a button for Special Links (for example to confirm opt-in, unsubscribe, or to link to your preference centre) or to link to a file. Choosing ‘Link File’ here will open the file manager for you to select your link.
